Stewardship of Treasure

Catholic Stewardship: A Life of Gratitude and Service

Catholic stewardship is a way of life rooted in faith, recognizing that all we have and all we are are gifts from God. It calls us to respond with gratitude, responsibility, and generosity by sharing our time, talents, and treasures to serve God and our neighbors.

Stewardship involves acknowledging God’s ownership of all creation, taking responsibility for the gifts we’ve been given, and returning a portion of them in service to strengthen the Church and make the world a better place. Guided by love and gratitude, stewardship nurtures a deeper spiritual connection with Christ and invites us to live our faith in everyday action.

“Who then is the faithful and wise steward, whom his master will set over his household to give them their portion of food at the proper time?
Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing.
Truly, I say to you, he will set him over all his possessions.”

Luke 12:42-44, RSV
