Lori Graves

Lori is a native of Chicago and was raised in a Catholic family. She started playing the organ at 5 and added piano at age 7. She attended Montini High School and received her Bachelors degree at DePaul University. Lori started teaching at the age of 15 and in 1994 went on to open her teaching studio in Darien, Illinois teaching piano, organ, keyboards, vocals and guitar. She has worked for the Lowrey Organ company as a concert artist and a product specialist and wrote their music education program. In 2015 Lori, closed her studio and moved to Dunnellon, Florida with her husband and horses. Lori was no stranger to working in the church environment as a director and a musician. Her last role was the Director of Music and Liturgy, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Leesburg, where she also taught and currently teaches at their school, on Tuesday and Wednesday, as their K-8 music teacher. Lori is happy to be back in her hometown as the Music Director at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
