The Baptism of Jesus

St. John the Forerunner (St. John the Baptist)
Our patron saint. St. John is depicted in camel hair (blue fur denoting his heavenly calling and nature) and a green which green generally symbolizes nature, life, growth and renewal.
The Stations of the Cross
The Stations of the Cross are located on the opposite wall from the sanctuary, above the doorway. They remind us of Jesus’ Passion and Death, which he suffered for our sake. We walk in the footsteps of Christ as we contemplate and pray on each event in the stations.
