Arimathean Ministry

We are proud and excited to announce our Arimathean Ministry. The name of our ministry comes from St. Joseph of Arimathea, who tended our Lord after his death and arranged for His tomb.

The ministry will consist of caring parishioners who wish to support their brothers and sisters in Christ who have lost a loved one. There have been occasional instances where there have been very few or no family members or friends to attend the funeral Mass. We will fill that gap and show support by attending the funeral Mass as representatives of our faith community.

There are no meetings and no dues. When a funeral is scheduled, we will contact you with the details. You will then attend the Mass, if you are able, and sit with other Arimatheans. We will be providing a newly designed cross to wear indicating your support.
