Technology

The Catholic Church views technology as a product of God-given human creativity, embracing it as a tool to share the Gospel, foster global solidarity, and improve human well-being, as seen in the work of St. Carlo Acutis. However, this embrace is cautious, emphasizing that technology must serve humanity and not replace genuine human connection, with Pope Francis urging discernment between uses that benefit society and those that enrich the powerful few. The Church utilizes digital platforms for evangelization, parish administration, and community building, while advocating for the responsible and ethical implementation of new technologies, such as AI.

PowerPoint Assistance During Mass

At each weekend Mass and on Holy Days, we offer a PowerPoint presentation to help the congregation follow along with the readings and prayers. While our staff prepares the slide shows, each Mass relies on a volunteer to advance the slides.

Using a remote control, volunteers can participate fully in the Mass while seated in the pew, helping the community engage more deeply in the liturgy. For information or to volunteer please contact us.

Live Streaming

10:30 and 12:15 Mass each Sunday is streamed to our Facebook page. Volunteers set up the tablet and stream the Mass. Contact us for more information. The Mass can be watched on our YouTube channel, typically on the first business day after the Sunday Mass.
